Petition the Media

Considering the dire circumstance, our media has been fairly quiet about Bowe's capture. It's hard not to contrast it with 24-7 Michael Jackson coverage. We need to encourage the news media to keep reminding Americans that the United States has a POW, an Army soldier captured by Taliban forces in Afghanistan. He is listed as missing/captured. His name is PFC Bowe Bergdahl, from Hailey, Idaho, and he needs our support. Keeping Bowe in the hearts and minds of Americans serves to encourage his family and perhaps Bowe as well. Who knows what he may be allowed to see? Al Jazeera network might be shown on a television where he is being held. Often Al Jazeera will air a news piece from CNN, Fox, or other mainstream U.S. network shows. The point is, without being political or controversial, which may harm him, we can support Bowe in other ways. Please get the word out to the media via email or Twitter to keep Bowe's capture in the forefront.
